I recently bought the Picoscope 5444D, and I successfully use it either to generate signals, or acquire some.
Now, I'd like to do both, at the same time.
My application is quite simple : I'd like to acquire the signal that comes out of a black box, when we apply a given input to it. To do so, I'd like to use only one channel (to keep 16bits for the vertical resolution), whose acquisition would be triggered when the signal generator starts emitting.
I can't use the TrigExt port, since I'd like the trigger to be independent from the emitted waveform.
Beside, I'd like to do repeated acquisitions in rapid block mode : thus I think software trigger can't work either.
Would you have something in mind, such as an internal register, whose status could be switched by the signal generator, and that the ChannelA acquisition could be triggered on ?
