Give me an alarm when one channel get out of oscillation

Post by Jakab »

I'm using PicoLog1216 to log current draw of multiple sample part during a thermal cycling test. The samples are stored in a heat chamber for weeks where the temperature is oscillating between -40°C and +85°C in two hours. There is also a temperature sensor connected to the PicoLog that measures the temperature in the chamber.

My issue is that the heat chamber I'm working with is pretty old and stops working occasionally. When I notice the issue I need to manually restart it. I'm not sitting next to the chamber all day and there are occasions when it is broken for days.

How can I setup the PicoLog to give me an alarm when there is no big change in the temp sensor channel for 2 hours? I'm thinking something like send me an email when Temp(now)-Temp(now-2h)>50°C so I can restart the heat chamber. Thanks!
