Experiments with a capacitor
Hi,
So I got this 2204A and found the capacitor experiment on the Pico website.
Seems simple enough, yet I can't get it to give me a measurement.
With a VOM, I can confirm that Vc quickly reaches Vs, and upon opening the switch, Vc slowly drops to zero through the VOM, so I know the ciruit is complete.
I can't seem to get a DC voltage measurement to work on this thing.
I am pretty sure I have the settings as described in the experiment.
Any suggestions?

Problem solved, but not sure why.
Once I started moving the trigger point by dragging around the screen with the mouse as opposed to using the tools on the bottom menu bar, the single shot began to work.
Haven't had a problem since.
Maybe a softare glitch?

Good to hear it is now working as expected.
Without seeing screen shots showing your setup, or better still a psdata file with the setup and data, it would be difficult to comment.
