Error in update of libpicoipp to 1.3.0-4r121 / Ubuntu

Post by pawlow »

Hi,
I tried to update from 1.3.0-4r78 (hoped, that the "no data" error is fixed) but it does not work:

Error massage: "etc/ld.so.conf.d/picoscope.conf is not an absolute pathname".

Now we have the same error like in picoscope 6 :(

Hi pawlow,
the libpicoipp_1.3.0-4r121_amd64.deb in the repo has a bug in its conffiles part. There are two lines in conffiles:

etc/ld.so.conf.d/picoscope.conf
/etc/ld.so.conf.d/picoscope.conf

The first has to be removed. This should be fixed by the maintainer in the repo. To fix it on your machine, see https://unix.stackexchange.com/question ... repack-deb
But in picoscope package exact dependencies are requested. So you may not change any character of the package version.

Hi Gerald,

thanks for your help, now I was able to install libpicoip.

But there is still the "No Data"-Error when I start picoscope. :(
