Regarding the binary file capture from picoscope 6000

Post by maitry.raval »

Hello support team,

I have picoscope 6000 , in which i want to capture the data in the form of binary. As manually verification of the captured data is not possible. As length of data is 10,00,000.

Please suggest a way, how can I capture the data in the form of binary 1010 file?

Hi maitry.raval,

If you're referring to the file size being a problem, so that you only want to capture the raw data, then the .psdata file format is the smallest file that you will be able to create.

If you're referring to capturing a Serial Communications Protocol, then your 6000 series PicoScope would need to be an MSO (Mixed Signal Oscilloscope) PicoScope, so that you can use the Digital Channels to capture the data as binary (see here: https://www.picotech.com/library/oscill ... oscope-mso).
