Triggering in PicoLog

Post by laganam »

Hello all,
I am trying to determine if it is possible to use a PicoScope 5443D as a logger in PicoLog 6 with triggering capabilities. We have a 100Hz square wave at 20% duty cycle and would like to get the amplitude of the signal in the 'on' state every 10 or so pulses. Is there a way to do this in PicoLog 6 with the PicoScope? Would an external trigger connected to the scope make this possible or would it require some programming? Thanks in advance!

Hi laganam,

Unfortunately, there is no way to trigger captures in PicoLog 6, or to selectively capture part of a pulse train. You could automatically capture the one Pulse in every 10 in PicoScope 6 (using a form of Trigger Hold-off) but it would mean saving each pulse as a separate file.

Can you tell us why you only want to capture 1 pulse in 10?
