Recorder output device

Post by George Nik »

We recently purchased an oxygen measuring system that can detects oxygen in liquid solution or gas phase. The meter can display current, percentage, or ppm Oxygen. It works quite well and as we are planning for long term experiments we are looking to store and record the data electronically. The device is coupled with a recorder output (BNC connection), a 1000 ohm resistance for chart recorder. I was wondering what device fits for our measuring system. Any suggestions are kindly appreciated.

Hi simos,

We apologise for the delay in answering your post (there has been a lot of other work that needed attention).

So, in the event that you are still looking for an answer to your questions, I can answer them if you can let us know the following:

1/ What would be the maximum output voltage of the Oxygen measuring system (and would it be unipolar)?
2/ What would be the time period between any 2 measurements sent from the system?

Regards,

Gerry
