3206MSO triggering woes ...

Post by evalon »

Hi all,

I have an slightly odd question that I hope one of you may be able to help with ...

As it is I have a picoscope 3206MSO (200 MHz, 2 channels, 16 channels digital) which acts "oddly" when I try to trigger a signal in channel A at a time/div setting of higher than 200 ns (i.e. 500ns, 1 us etc).

I can see the signal at 20ns, 50ns, 100ns and 200ns but when I switch to any of the higher time/div settings it is suddenly gone - no matter what I do in terms of trying different trigger settings. However, when I switch to channel B the signal is suddenly there at any time/div settings .... ???

I cannot figure out why this could be - might any of you know why? Maybe channel A is somehow damaged? Or is it a software "peculiarity"?

Many thanks for any help in this!

Cheers,

Jesper M
