picoscope 7 on ubuntu 21.04

Post by lupo »

Hi to all,

I have installed the picoscope 7 on my ubuntu 21.04 machine.

The installation seems to be succesfully but when I start the application my pico 2206B is not recognized.
I receive an NoData error message.

Checking dmesg ouput I see that the usb device seems to be found:

[ 1473.999821] usb 1-8: new high-speed USB device number 13 using xhci_hcd
[ 1474.148442] usb 1-8: New USB device found, idVendor=0ce9, idProduct=1016, bcdDevice= 0.16

As PicoScope 7 is a closed beta program can you email these details to support@picotech.com and the team can follow up.
