About that "5244D MSO" can't be triggered under 0V trigger voltage

Post by oasis2016 »

Hi, everyone! :D

This is the case. When I used my 5440D MSO oscilloscope for testing, I found that the signal cannot be triggered with a trigger voltage of 0V in the ±100V range:
±100V range & 0V trigger voltage can't trigger normally.jpg
But when I increase the trigger voltage a little, for example, 800mV, it can be triggered normally;
±100V range 800mV trigger voltage can trigger normally.jpg
Or, Choose a smaller range, such as ±50V, even if the trigger voltage is 0V, it can be triggered normally.
±50V range & 0V trigger voltage can trigger normally.jpg
Why is this? :?: :?: :?:

Best regards!
