Hi,
I started learning how to use Picoscope 6 using Picoscope 2408B. I am learning using the YouTube tutorials, and I am watching the first video which is PicoScope 6: Basic Menu Overview - Part One. The video shows using the signal generator to create a signal and showing the output. I did that which is set the signal type to Sine, start frequency to 1kHz, amplitude to 900mV, offset to 0V and then clicked on signal on. I was expecting a sine wave appearing on the screen just like in the video. But nothing is happening. Why is that. What is the mistake I am doing. Thank You.
Signal Generator in Picoscope 6 not working
Re: Signal Generator in Picoscope 6 not working
you need to connect the output of the signal gen to the input of 1 of the scope channels and activate that channel.

Re: Signal Generator in Picoscope 6 not working
Hello,
I am sorry I don't understand. The signal generator is already within the software Picoscope 6. Because in the video all it shows the guy clicks on the signal generator tab and sets the values and the simulated signal comes on the screen. So how do I connect it with a channel. I have not seen any such thing in any videos. Can you please explain or let me know where I can get this info? Thank you.

Re: Signal Generator in Picoscope 6 not working
Connect your probe to channel A and then put the probe tip into the SigGen BNC port (Marked AWG)
