Pico 2204 and hantek 65

Post by rudzis2 »

Hello all my name is Martin. My introduction post and a little problem i faced.
Have my pico few months now and its been great(user not so much :) ) Now i decided to add current probe. I went with cheap hantek probe for starter. But i have problems with setting it up.
My actual amp readings from charger is 2.9amps. Pico shows 10 amps in 1mv/10ma mode and 1 amp in 1mv/100ma mode.
I use pico inbuilt 60a current clamp in 20a mode. Would you guys could help me with its setup and understand if its faulty or im doing something wrong.
Thank you.

Hi rudzis2,

We use Custom Probes for scaling of Voltage and Current Probes that don't use our standard ranges (and even if you were using the correct ratios, you have to be careful because the limits also need to be specified).

If you post the specs, (or a link to them) for your Hantek probe, I can create one for you.

Regards,

Hello,

Can you help me configure a new DC custom probe to allow me to use the an Amp clamp I had from a previous O-Scope?

Hantek 65AC/DC Current Probe

I attached the specs for the DC Range. Further details can be found at http://www.hantek.com/products/detail/77

Thanks,
Jeff
