Waveform in PS and MatLab different

Hi, I'm trying to stream the waveform in MatLab. However, I found the result I capture in MatLab is different from what I get in PicoScope 6 (attached below) even if they're of the same setting (125 MS, 8bits). Basically, the waveform from MatLab is much noisier and I didn't get the echo signal which appears in PS 6. I'm wondering why this would happen and how should I solve this.

It would help if we could see the PicoScope 6 psdata file with the same settings, and also the Matlab code you are using.
