Ask the question of "window trigger"

Post by oasis2016 »

Hello, everyone!
I found a problem when using the demo function of Picoscope 6. When I use "window trigger" a 1KHz 800mVpp signal, the waveform cannot be stabilized at a certain point.
I mean, where is the trigger point for this kind of window? What is the scope of this so-called "window" on the time axis?
Because I am a beginner, please forgive my ignorance.
Thank you all!
I wish you a good mood every day!

That is a fault with the demo device driver which hasn't been touched for a long time. These are with a real scope

It's been more than a year, and today when I tried PicoScope-6.14.61, the bug that appeared during the demo has not been solved yet.
I don't think it should be, if a new customer downloads the PicoScope software to try it out and finds out that it doesn't give the results he wants at all, he thinks PicoScope sucks, doesn't it?
If this problem can be solved, it will also be beneficial to the sales of the product. :)
