ADC-24

Post by andycph »

Hi,

I am using the ADC-24 to hook up a mV pressure sensor with differential output (+SIGNAL and -SIGNAL). I connect up the 2 signal leads to channels 7 and 8, but I am not sure if I should also connect the GND from the power supply to the AG of the ADC-24. Can anyone advise? Cheers.

Hi Andy,

You should connect the Ground of the ADC-24 to any reference point of the Power Supply to the pressure sensor (to provide a stable reference) as long as there is less than a 30V difference between the reference point of the Power Supply and the PC ground connected to the ADC, so connecting AG to the ground of the Power supply should be fine.

Finally, I noticed that you sent 2 messages towards the end of last year. Unfortunately, I took an early break (used up some unused holiday) but I've answered your Support Ticket on our help desk.

Regards,

Gerry
