v6.14.23.580 locks up after system update

Just did my weekly update to Ubunutu 18.04 LTS and Picoscope 6 no longer works. It just hangs with the splash screen displayed with "Enumerating devices..." and never gets any further. lsusb shows the device as does the usbtest program.

Anyone seeing problems like this? Anyone have any suggestions?

Looks like the issue is that each attempted enumeration that fails takes a very, very long time. Since the SW looks for all supported devices what looks like a lock-up is just very slow (10s of minutes) of enumeration. I was able to make the start-up time reasonable by deleting all lib files for all devices that I don't own. Not an ideal solution but at least it works now. This may get fixed with subsequent Linux updates though...
