Channel Options sticks open.

Post by Bachurski316 »

Been using the PicoScope software on Windows for several years. Recently switched over to Linux, I'm using a 4424 scope on Arch Linux, but I'm having a problem with the Linux software where the "Channel Options" menu doesn't close if I open it. So where the channels are labeled A, B, C, D. If I click one of those to change my probe selection or turn on filtering, the menu stays open and in my way. Nothing I've tried has worked to make it close. Where as on Windows it will close if I either click it again, click out of the menu, or press Escape. Has anyone ran into this or know a fix I could try? Thank you.

Finally figured out what was going on here. It's actually not a problem with Pico at all, rather i3 window manager treats each menu that you open in Pico as it's own window. So if you simply issue the i3 command to close the window you can open/close the menu's as needed. Leaving post in the hopes that it helps someone.
