Hello,
I have owned and used a picoscope 4424 for the last couple of years to do basic automotive diagnosis, so I am familiar with the functions and software. I recently switched jobs that require me to work on high voltage (upwards of 700). Recently ran into an issue with some logic boards and currently exploring new diagnostic methods and purchased a TA042 differential probe. I had a couple questions in regards to setting it up because I can’t seem to get it to work accurately.
1) what parameters should I set my custom probe to?
2) am I able to create parameters for a custom probe to where the probe can measure minute voltages (5v)?
3) should I take attenuation into consideration when selecting a new range for the custom probe?
Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
David
