2206BMSO Matlab 2020a icdevice/connect fail
Hi, I´m Stephan and new in the Picoscope domain.
I have a Windows 7 64 Bit, a PicoScope 2206 B MSO and Matlab 2020a 64 Bit and MATLAB and Simulink Student Suite which includes the Instrument Control Toolbox.
The installation was done inline with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpMIRnvylTk, the tutorial from Neil.
The picoscope 6 software is running fine.
I have executed Matlab both - with Picoscope 6 SW running and stopped
I got the icdevice connect fail as shown in the attached screenshot.
Do you have an advice for me how to get the connection with matlab running.
I have not found the error with the requested midedit.
The picoscope driver is the 1.1.22 as shown in midedit.

Hi Stephen
The scope can only be connected in a single instance so if you have PicoScope 6 connected to the scope, even if it isn't running currently, then MATLAB will be unable to find the device to use.

I have tried the following:
1a. Start Windows and Verified with Taskmanager Picoscope SW was not running.
1b. Start Matlab
1c. Execute DEMO Program
Result: Same Problem.
I have only on Picoscope 2206BMSO HW connected.
Do you have another hint for me to check? Should I remover the Picoscope6 SW from my laptop?

Hi Stephen
I've just spotted that you're using the ps2000 examples, which will not work with your 2206B MSO.
Your scope needs the ps2000a instrument driver addon and examples to work in MATLAB.
