No AWG signal for 10ms when changing settings

Post by UAdvisor »

Using a version of the LabVIEW AWG code for the 2405a picoscope, whenever I change a setting of the AWG (Sine) such as amplitude or frequency, I get a delay of 10ms in which the signal is zero or held at a high or low AWG amplitude.

This delay causes an issue with my testing, and so I would like to know how to address it. I experimented with the Picoscope program itself, and no such delay happens there when changing frequency or amplitude.

Hi,

Looking at the LabVIEW code for the AWG example I can see no delays in the code.
Could you send a psdata file from PicoScope 6 and a screenshot of the front panel or LabVIEW code of the AWG.
Have you tried updating to current version of SDK? https://www.picotech.com/downloads.
