installing pt104 driver

Post by meran »

Hello,

I followed the instruction on the flowing link to install driver for pt104. However, I always get the below message

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package libusbpt104

I installed picoscope which suppose to install all drivers for all PicoScope product. However under /opt/picoscope/share/doc/, I cant see any library related to pt104

OS:
Description: Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS
Release: 18.04
Codename: bionic

Arch : x86_64

Any ideas why I cant locate drivers ?

Same here, I've followed instructions to install Linux drivers, but the libusbpt104 is missing in https://labs.picotech.com/debian/dists/ ... 4/Packages
It cannot be found in any of them either.

How can be libusbpt104 installed on Ubuntu/Debian Linux?

Workaround provided by mail through picotech technical support:
I will let the relevant teams know that the repository isn't returning the pt104 driver. I have a link to the repository files that hopefully will let you get the required driver files here https://labs.picotech.com/debian/pool/main/libu/
