Exporting Large data files to CSV

Post by bsearle »

I'm currently using picoscope automotive 6. Version (6.13.6.3775)

I have a large picoscope trace (about a minute and a half) with a high sample rate. I only need a couple of seconds of this data for comparison in an excel format. However due to large amount of data the excel format can only contain a couple of seconds of the data.

is it possible to only save a select number of seconds? or delete the preceding data from the trace?

I actually only want the data so i can subtract one channel from another, (to calculate the voltage across a component).

Many thanks for the help

Unfortunately it is not possible to export a portion of a waveform.

For information you can use "Tools->Math Channels" to subtract one channel from another so that you have the voltage across a component plotted on the screen, and potentially calculate the current as well depending upon the component.
