1553 Manchester Decoding

Post by pferrill »

I have been attempting to tweak the Manchester settings to properly decode MIL-STD 1553 data to no avail. It' close but not quite there. I have a simulator board that output the same 9 messages as follows:

2040 A 2000 1234 3456 5678 789A 9ABC BCDE DEF0 F012 2456 6897 ABCD CDEF 3201 5498 7654 9876 0203 0405 0607 0809 0A0B 191A 1817 1716 FE01 FD23 FC45 FB67 FA89 F00F EEEE DD5A
2C64 A 2800 1234 3456 5678 789A
C0C6 A C000 1234 3456 5678 789A 9ABC BCDE
0C48 A 0800 1234 3456 5678 789A 9ABC BCDE DEF0 F012
30C1 A 3000 1234
CC27 A C800 1234 3456 5678 789A 9ABC BCDE DEF0
2824/9424 A 9000/2800 1234 3456 5678 789A
0821 A 0800 1234
1025 A 1000 1234 3456 5678 789A 9ABC

I'm also attaching a data file where you can see it gets the data right some of the time but not always. It seems to miss the command and status words which have a different sync pattern but not always as seen in the CAP2 file.

I'm attaching a data file and a few screenshots. Any help appreciated.

tnx
