Hello,
Is it possible to to open data files saved in PicoLog 6 on other computers? After every test that I run, I use 'save data' from within picolog to save my data to a .picolog file. I then move this file from the computer running the tests to my normal work computer with the intention of exporting the data to a .csv or something similar. How can one do this? the only option I can find is to 'load configuration' which does not get me any closer to seeing the saved data.
I am using picolog 6.1.2
Thank you,
Willem
Opening PicoLog 6 files on a different computer
Re: Opening PicoLog 6 files on a different computer
Hi Will,
You should be able to just click on the 'Folder with the Arrow' icon at the top to export your file as CSV after having stopped/paused the capture, and then just copy that to your work computer.
If you are talking about *.picolog files you have already saved and copied to your work computer, then what you can do is install PicoLog 6 on your work computer, then go to the 'Settings' icon on the left to set which folder the files will be saved to in 'File Handling'. Next copy the saved *.picolog file from the test computer to that location, and then select the 'Files' icon on the left to open your file in PicoLog 6, and finally click on the 'Folder with the Arrow' icon at the top to export your file as CSV.
Regards,
Gerry
