Post by valery »

Good afternoon. I ask for help how to measure the time between pulses?

You can do this manually using the time rulers, little white squares at bottom left of the trace window, or you can use Measurements->DeepMeasure and add a deep measure for Channel B where all timing will be related to the trigger on Channel A

Time is not measured, I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong?

Having just looked at the signal again, with only one pulse the DeepMeasure algorithm can't work out the cycle to be able to make measurements.

Can you post a psdata file for this capture, I can then try a couple of other options to see if I can get a time decode, otherwise the manual rulers approach will be the only option.

I have created a Math Channel of A+B and then applied Deep Measure to the math channel which gives the timings. Hopefully this will meet your needs :-)

Thanks, all worked well!
Is it possible to continuously record received measurements in a file? We need to build a histogram from this data.

As you have a 6404C with lots of memory and you are only collecting a small number of samples per screen you could set the waveform buffers to the maximum of 10000 (Tools->Preferences->MaximumWaveforms) and then change the Deep Measure table to "All buffers" from "Current Buffer" and the table will have all the information. Finally you can use the export button to save the data to file.
