Touch setup?

Post by d1camero »

I am evaluating picoscope 6.14 as a touch screen scope with no mouse or keyboard using a Windows tablet. Runs fine, but it sure is awkward to use as touch.

Are there any settings that make it more touch friendly? flyout menus, larger controls, less reliance on the menu bar, hide the menu bar?

thanks

Hi

We are currently working on a new version of PicoScope that is touch friendly.
There is a closed beta of the automotive version of the software currently running but it is only compatible with automotive scopes.

Thanks for the info Neil.

As a product developer, I am going to ask a question that I always hate to answer, but I will ask it anyways:

do you know when (approx) you might have the new touch interface available for the general scopes?

thanks
Don

Hi Don

I'm afraid I don't have any information on a general release date currently

I've a similar issue.

I'm about to buy a tablet PC specifically to run Picoscope for my 5000-series oscilloscope. Do you have any recommendations as to suitable tablet PCs running Windows - or minimum specs and things to avoid so that the performance of the scope isn't compromised?
