Hi -
We are using 4x TA058 differential probes into rackmounted oscilloscope for ATE application.
Must the DC supplies for each adaptor be isolated? Or, can we power all four probes from a single supply (of sufficient rating) with no impact to performance/ground loop issue? Finding room for four power bricks are not convenient.
I confirmed my suspicion that the DC input jack ground is connected to BNC shell, so I have to assume one supply is fine, (because all supply input grounds would be tied to earth/chassis through oscilloscope anyway), but want to double check first.

Yes, as long as the supply can provide a constant voltage at the combined required current level, you can power all probes off of the same supply (without any grounding issues).
