Single pulse on a PS4000 series

Post by imbr31 »

Hello,

I have a 4224 oscilloscope, and I'm hoping to use the signal generator to generate a single pulse, using the Python SDK (a few dozen ms in duration). Is this something, in principle, possible? The pulse will trigger a custom circuit, and I will measure a signal (overall 1 second for the entire measurement).

Is this something feasible? Apologies, if this has been covered, a cursory search did not reveal anything.

The 4224 doesn't have a Signal Generator, so this is not possible.

Apologies, the model in question is a 4262!

It seems to be done via the shots argument, but I'd be greatful if there is an example where this is done. All of the examples I've seen in the Github are about recording.
