Hi TOMTOM,

Currently we don't support Android directly for running our off-the-shelf software (PicoScope 6 & PicoLog 6) or our Software Development Kit for creating your own application.

However, you can setup your Android tablet to work indirectly with your TC-08 running on one of our supported platforms. There are 2 possible methods, as follows:

1/ You can setup a supported OS (Windows, Mac OS or Linux) on another platform to run PicoLog 6, and create an alarm for the specific events that you are intersted in. Then you can use IFTTT to receive a web request from PicoLog 6 created as an alarm action, which can then run an app on your Tablet. For more details see here: https://www.picotech.com/library/data-loggers/picolog-6-ifttt-alarm.

2/ As a suggestion, if you can set up transparent pass through of USB on another OS running on your Android Tablet (because the platform running our PicoLog software needs to be able to control the USB port directly, and communicate with the TC-08 directly) then you could try running a supported OS on a virtual machine on Android, or one the other methods suggested on the internet to install Windows or Linux to a rooted or non rooted device (which you can find by Googling running windows on Android), and then run PicoLog 6 on the supported OS.

We have tested method 1 and can verify that it works, but as we haven't tested method 2, unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to provide any support for that.
