Trying to capture 1-wire data

Many new home appliances (washers, dryers, etc) use what I believe to be 1-wire for communicating between boards, such as the main controller and the motor controller.

I'd like to be able to view the commands sent and their response.

Can you tell me which product would do this?

Also, does the display software come with the hardware device, and does it run on Linux? (all my PCs are linux).
