What data is actually being saved when you choose Save As (.csv)

Post by vitsensei »

Hi,
when I do Save As, I realised that the data being saved is actually panned across multiple different CSV files, each file has the same X number of samples captured I indicated in the software.

What I think is happening is the software capture all the data from the beginning, separated into X-sample segments. If this is the case, then what is the effect of setting Number of Samples in the software anyways, Since it gonna capture everything?

Each csv file will represent one waveform buffer as collected in the PicoScope software. Please note that the data will not be continuous between files.
