I have compiled versions for PS3000 and PS3000ACS and both report the same issue Cannot detect device. does not matter if the device is connected USB3 or USB2 same result each time. The ps 3406D is fully functional and I am using the supplied software. But ir appears the examples supplied with the SDK do not appear to work in relation to the install device. PC using Win 10 1903.
is there information i need to enter on the command line to get the software to check for a particular device?
any help with the SDK please.

Have you got the PicoSDK installed with the bit version that matches your C# compiler?
The 3406D uses the 3000a driver so these are the examples that you'll need to use.
