Path not found when starting program

Program has been installed and installation was without problems. All drivers were loaded successfully.
However when the program is started, the message box "Aborting -Load form Path not found" is displayed and the program does not go further. This happens whether the link or the executable itself is started.
The installation has been attempted twice with administrator privileges and the computer was restarted after installation.
Operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate

What program has been installed ?
What Pico Technology product are you trying to use ?
Is your Windows 7 Ultimate system fully patched up to date ?

Thanks. Sorry, I should indeed have specified the product ! It is for the PicoVNA. The software installed is the one from the picotech web site PicoVNA2 2.11.0.17.
I also tried the software which came on the USB thumb drive with the device.
Regarding the latest OS patching, I will update it then update the post.

Follow up to previous answer. The OS has been updated. Unfortunately, the problem remains. :)

Could someone give some hints as to which resources the program is expected to find at start up: path, dynamically loaded DLL. Which gui framework is being used? Thanks

Same issue here on my main office PC, but tried on a more "virgin" PC (both WIN10 Enterprise) and it worked. Probably some kind of registry or environmental variable type issue, my main PC has lots of toolchains and IDEs installed.
