Hardware problem?

Post by prishvin »

Suddenly, without apparent reason, picoscope started reading half of the voltage across all channels. Plus there is a random offset (10-40mv) on some channels. What may be the reason? How this can be solved?

Hi prishvin,

Could you give us the details of exactly what you are measuring, and post a psdata file.

Also, has the output impedance of what you are measuring changed? For instance, if you are capturing a signal from an external Signal Generator and it's output is changed to drive a 50 ohm input, when it was previously set to drive a high impedance input, the voltage will be halved.

Regards,
