Windows does not see the scope

Post by DL96 »

I have an oscilloscope 3405D. When installing PicoScope 6 and connecting the device, the oscilloscope is not detected. In the device manager, it is detected as a WestBridge device with an exclamation mark and no drivers. Installing drivers through an update or the DPInst.exe file gives an error. Tell me what to do? I use Win7

Hi

Is your version o Windows 7 up to date with windows updates? If not could you update to the latest version.
Then can you try uninstalling PicoScope 6, deleting the AppData and folder in Program Files (x86) for PicoScope then reinstall PicoSocpe 6 and see if this persists?

Hey. I downloaded and installed all current updates of Windows 7 and reinstalled PicoScope. The problem persists. On another computer with Windows 7 everything was installed without problems. The device is still displayed as WestBridge with uninstalled drivers. Installing drivers from the DPInst.exe file ends in errors.
