Changing default directory when installing

Post by surepic »

Hi I`m wondering if there is a way to choose drive at installation? Its automatically installing in drive C: but I would like to install it in different drive....are there any options for that ?
thanks.

Hi surepic,

I've been looking through the posts, and I noticed that yours hasn't been answered, and the answer is that there are no options of switch settings that will enable you to install PicoScope on another Drive.

If you search for it you may find a workaround that will enable you to do what you want (e.g. here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... a8aebd4599). However, you need to be aware that Drive C is hard coded into the installation setup so you could risk some obscure bug occurring if you try and circumvent the fixed location.
