No logic trigger (A||B||C||D) for 3425?

Post by bboyes »

Picoscope 6.13.15 help says there is a logic trigger to let me capture on any of the four channels of 3425 exceeding a level. But this feature seems not allowed on the 3425 when I try to use it - there is no such menu. Is there no way to do this on the 3425? What about on other PicoScopes? I could find no such matrix of "what features are supported on what model" before purchasing the 3425 recently (yes, used) and just now still can't find such a table. And the built in User Guide has no disclaimer about this, so reading it, it appears to claim that *any* PicoScope with this version of the software could have this feature.

In my case I am looking for overvoltage surges on multiple channels of a system so any channel might be the most important and want to cause a trigger and capture. Is there any way to do this on the 3425?

For information the software does have a Device Features table

but doesn't list Logic Triggering separately only Advanced Triggers.

Due to hardware restrictions the 3425 can only use a single channel for Advanced Trigger functions, so what you are looking to do is not possible.

Can the 4444 do this type of triggering?
