SBC / NUC

Post by JCD »

Hi,
I would like to replace my parallel port ADC-11/12 and buy a Picolog 1216.
The laptop with parallel port is getting old and unreliable and I want to replace it as well.
Preferably with a Single Board Computer or a NUC.
Is there any brand/type/flavor you would recommend or advise against?
A fanless sollution would be the nicest.
Cheers,
Jean

I can see here Picolog on Raspberry pi3 that support for Raspberry pi will be feature request for Picolog 6.
Is Picolog 6 meanwhile supported on Raspberri Pi?

It is not currently supported but is being actively looked into, I suggest emailing support@picotech.com to log your interest.

OK the newsletter told me that
New SDK supports Raspberry Pi
Great news for software developers: now you can use all current PicoScopes and PicoLog data loggers with the Raspberry Pi. We've added new armhf beta drivers to the Pico driver repository for Linux.
On the page https://www.picotech.com/downloads/linux is a lot of information that is not clear for me because I am not a programmer.

Can Picolog and Picoscope programs be installed on a Raspberry Pi?
