See attachment. I am using the serial decoder and trying to understand what the fields Address and Address +R/W are?

Hi jgleason,

The Address + R/W bit field just includes the last bit in the address encoding (shift or shift + 1) because some vendors of I2C comms based devices include the R/W bit in their address frames to create 8-bit addresses, although, officially this is against the convention of the spec where addresses are 7-bits. So, we provide both in the decode table.

Regards,
