Not for a factory calibration (to confirm that the TC-08 is still operating within It's specifications).
However, if you want to calibrate your TC-08 to improve accuracy then you should have it calibrated with the thermocouples you intend to use for the measurement/s. This will then give you the accuracy for a specific channel using a specific thermocouple on a specific TC-08 data logger, which will have less uncertainty than a factory calibration (as long as you always attach a thermocouple to the channel used during calibration when you perform any measurement).
