Measure USB3.0

Post by patwen »

We are developing USB3.0 devices and need to optimise USB 3.0 transfer, which scope is good enough for USB3.0 testing and measurement?

Many thanks. :D

Hi Patwen,

If the test and measurement you want to perform is in areas of signal integrity, signal injection, skew analysis, eye mask testing, etc, then we have a range of RF products that can do this very cost-effectively here: https://www.picotech.com/rf-products.

If you are referring to tasks related to serial decoding, and data analysis then we don't have anything capable of doing that at USB 3.0 transfer rates.

Hi Patwen,

You can focus your attention on our Sampling Scope series here: https://www.picotech.com/oscilloscope/9 ... illoscopes, which are capable of performing those types of measurement on USB SuperSpeed connections. If you want specific details regarding these measurements, and how a specific model will best suit your requirements, you can contact our RF product support team via email to support@picotech.com, or by calling in to +44 1480 396395, and asking for technical support on RF products (although this is dependent upon the availability of members of our RF support team).
