PICOSCOPE 3404B AWG below 1Hz

Post by benwoodgate »

The arbitrary wave form generator doesn't function correctly below 1Hz and completely stops functioning at 50mHz and below.
The square wave function seems to work all the way to 30mHz but accuracy seems to off quiet a bit around 10%

If you can post a couple of psdata files, with the setups for both situations, we can then take a closer look.

Attachment of AWG going from working at 60mHz and not working at 50mHz
Attachment of Square wave set to 100mHz and off frequency

Increase the number of samples to the maximum it will go, using the right arrow, in the 'Arbitrary Waveform Generator' Window.
This will also give the best accuracy for frequency.
This worked for the 'AWG set to 50mHz -no longer working.psdata' file you sent in.
This is an issue with PicoScope 6, it should really use the largest buffer for each model scope.
