PicoScope calibration

Post by dstrehlow »

Other than performing "Zero Channel Offsets" and rescaling channels for actual value, is there a way to "reprogram" a PicoScope for nominal readings if any fail accuracy verification?
If so, is this capability held solely by Pico Technologies or is it available for distribution?

Thank you for any information available.

If units are outside specification they would need to come back to the factory.

I have the 5244B. Connecting probes to ground one channel is reading 6mV and the other channel reading 35mV. Does the scope need calibration? If yes do you have a local agent in Malta please?

For service calibration of a Picoscope 4562, are we talking about a return to UK or do you have approved partners around Europe?

I might add that if possible I would like adjustments to get as accurate performance as possible, not just a measurement check-up.

Hi Audioguy,

We don't have specific calibration houses around Europe that we have approved, however, you should find that there are some calibration labs that are capable of calibrating a PicoScope 4262, and who may be able to offer you a calibration for accuracy (where they can provide you with a calibration curve for each channel, which you can use to create accurate custom probes to fine tune the accuracy of each channel).

Regards,
