6404D Aux Triggering not working

Post by nwford »

Hello,

I have a 6404D unit. I am able to communicate with the device fine and trigger off the aux input using the PicoScope software. I have some custom Labview VI's that can read off of the scope fine as well. However when I try and use the aux trigger in my labview VI it no longer works. Do you need to enable and configure the aux line before you can trigger it? I know it has it's input fixed at +-1V. My trigger signal is a 5V signal so this should be able to trigger the aux line. My VI runs fine with no errors up to the WaitReady VI, where it just waits and waits. I am not sure if I am not setting my trigger right or what. Attached is a snip of my code where I try and set the trigger.

The threshold would need to be set appropriately in the +/-5V range which m,ay be an issue.

I would suggest you send your code into support@picotech.com and the team can take a look on a live system.
