PicoScope hangs/very slow

Hello Everyone,

I just received my first PicoTech product: a PicoScope 5444D.
I downloaded and installed the latest PicoScope release for Windows.
It is installed on a Windows 7 system.

The software takes very long to start and is then almost unresponsive.
I once managed to click the stop button in the status bar. It was better but not yet useable.
This behavior is to be seen both when the PicoScope is plugged in and when its not (demo mode).

Any idea what I can try to have a properly running installation?
Is there any known incompatibilities with other softwares?

Please make sure that you have applied all the latest WIndows 7 updates, and if that doesn't resolve the issue send the trace.xml file as detailed in section 3 of the Frequently Asked Questions to support@picotech.com
