Pulse width measurement incorrect

Post by stfarley »

I found this on version 6.13.7.706

It seems to be reporting incorrect max and min pulse width.

The max, min and average values in the table are buffer statistics, in this case for 20 captures, not the statistical readings for the pulses in the displayed waveform.

As the example is set to whole trace the recorded value is the average of the pulses in the display.

OK thanks, I see, Although that is really misleading. One would expect that a Minimum Pulse width measurement is the smallest pulse not an averaging function.
Is there a way to configure it to measure the Min and Max pulse width?

Thanks,
Steve

This is rather confusing and one of the reasons for introducing the new Deep Measure feature, which is available in the latest release of PicoScope 6 for Windows. At some point this will be added to the Linux and Mac versions of the software.
