Picoscope measuring 24V signals

Post by beekmani »

Hi,

I want to monitor some digital PLC signals (24V) with the Picoscope 3405D MSO

I want to use the MSO inputs which have a dynamic range of +-20V. Does this mean is can measure between 24V and 0, or do I have to use a voltage divider before i can connect them to the scope?

Although the overvoltage protection is ±50 V continued exposure to voltages over ±20V will cause damage, so you will need to use a voltage divider.
