DrDaq plugged into a usb port

Post by jpaine »

I have a DrDaq that I use as a oscilloscope. I uses a db25 cable to connect to the computer. I just recently replaced my laptop with a new one that unfortunatly does not have a parallel port. I tried using a usb to db25 converter cable but the computer cannot find the DrDaq device. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I should do?

Hello jpaine,

To use the DrDAQ with a USB port requires that you use the Pico Parallel/USB converter http://www.picotech.com/usb_parallel_port.html
