Measuring voltage with probe[hook] sampletime

Post by beekmani »

Hi,

I was wondering about some of the features of the picoscope 2408B.

Besides measuring some high speed digital signals (1-20 khz range), I want to measure the DC voltage aswell.

- With the picoscobe 2408B comes a TA132 Probe, does this probe also have a hook for easy connecting to the wires that need to be measured?
- I want to measure if I have a stable 24V input, what is the range of the samplerates(ms to seconds?) because I want to measure the voltage for about an hour and log this data onto the PC.

Hi beekmani,

All Probes shipped with our 2000 series PicoScopes should include a clip (hook) for the probe tip.

The Range of Sampling for the 2408B is from 10ns at 1GS/s to just under 14hrs at 20S/s. So, for one hour (and 23 mins) you could sample at 200S/s, and then save the data.

There is more technical inof on our 2408B available here: https://www.picotech.com/oscilloscope/2 ... ifications
