Low voltage range - Overvoltage

Post by bendzo »

Hi,
I'm using PicoScope and current probe with "open" alarm (signalizing that current probe is not locked), current probe amplifier output is around 1V during the alarm.

My question is, if it's safe to use lower ranges (+-200mV or even +-20mV) when actual input signal may reach 1V?

Thank you!
Jacob
